ICSJ launches two new English-language study programs

At ICSJ FSV UK, we are expanding our range of English-language study programs with two new programs that reflect the current challenges of today's media and communications world. The bachelor's program Sustainability in Marketing and Media Communication (SUMAC) combines marketing and media studies from the perspective of sustainability, while the master's program Game Studies (GAME) focuses on research into games as an important cultural and social phenomenon.

Communicating a sustainable future

The new English-language bachelor's program Sustainability in Marketing and Media Communication is designed for those interested in media and communication studies, marketing, and the principles of sustainable development. During their studies, students will learn to incorporate sustainability principles into communication processes, create content with social responsibility in mind, and develop the strategic and intercultural skills needed for today's media environment.

The program responds to the growing demand for professionals capable of combining a creative approach, critical thinking, and ethical communication. Its graduates will find employment in media and communication agencies, public institutions, the corporate sector, and non-profit organizations, both in the Czech Republic and internationally.

Studying games in a cultural and social context

Games are not just entertainment, but also a fascinating medium that shapes culture, society, and our perception of the world. The new English-language master's program Game Studies (GAME) explores games in all their breadth: from classic board games to the latest digital titles.

The program combines media studies, sociology, and film studies, opening up space for understanding the gaming industry, the history of games, and current trends. During the two-year program, students learn to read games as cultural texts and products of the cultural industry, explore the values of gaming communities, and understand the role of games in today's media ecosystem.
