Cost-free summer school in Slovenia for PhD students

Applications are still open for the cost-free Open Science Summer School at the University of Maribor, Slovenia, from 11 to 15 September 2023. Aimed mainly at PhD students or young researchers, it intends to develop skills in research data management, open access to research results, use of open research infrastructure, supercomputing resources and the European Cloud for Open Science.

The one-week course is held in person at the University of Maribor and is free of charge. All materials, excursions and refreshments during breaks will be provided by the summer school organiser. The University of Maribor will also provide one free meal (lunch) per day. The working language is English and learners can receive 3 ECTS credits for participation. It is possible to apply for financial support through the Erasmus+ programme.
