Looking for a member of the Centre of Doctoral Studies

The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, is looking to hire a member of the Centre of Doctoral Studies at the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism.

Each candidate must fulfil these requirements:

  • PhD student of the Media and Communication Studies doctoral program at the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism
  • Very good knowledge of the English language
  • Organisational, administrative and communicative skills

We offer:

  • One-year contract (with a possibility of extension)
  • Part-time position (20 hours/week) starting on January 2, 2023
  • Task description: organisational and administrative support of the English doctoral programme within the Centre of doctoral studies ICSJ FSS CU, participation in teaching, scientific activity and running of the ICSJ FSS CU

  • Full list of publications
  • At least one academic recommendation
  • Copy of degree/certificate of highest educational level completed
