Lecture by Marc Kudlowski: SciCom for Children in German Television and Beyond
On Wednesday, April 2, at 14:00, Marc Kudlowski will give his lecture "SciCom for Children in German Television and Beyond" at Hollar. Kudlowski is coming as a guest of Anežka Kuzmičová in the framework of the WONDRE (ERC) project. The lecture will be in English and is open to all students and staff. -
The first phase of the Hollar building renovation and modernization is complete. We are opening the new Hollar Student Zone
After extensive reconstruction and modernization of the former library at Hollar, the Hollar Student Zone is now open to students, offering expanded facilities for study and relaxation. We cordially invite you to its opening, which will take place on Wednesday, 5 March 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the presence of the FSV UK Dean, Tomáš Karásek, and the Director of the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism, Jakub Končelík. -

The ReMeD Conference will take place in February
In February 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University will host a conference titled "Regulation and Accountability in a Hybrid Media System: Content Creators, Algorithmic Plurality, and Online Platforms." This conference is organized within the framework of the ReMeD project, coordinated by doc. Němcová Tejkalová at Charles University. For this conference, ReMeD thematically collaborates with another Horizon Europe project MeDeMAP, led by prof. Nico Carpentier at Charles University.
